for future reference... sleepers is a disturbing movie. we're less than halfway through and the boys have been molested, raped, beaten within an inch of their life... and we're supposed to see the big stuff coming in revenge in the adultlife.

very disturbing.

well, this is really why i posted all that yesterday

ok. the reason i posted all of that yesterday was a lead up. yup. a lead up to what, you may ask. well, i'll tell you.

i want you guys (yes, that's right. all of you. anybody who reads my journal.) to ask me questions. there's no doubt in my mind that you guys have had questions all your lives about those crazy people that come knocking at your door bright and early saturday mornings when you're trying to sleep. i'll try to explain any beliefs i can, if you ask.

and, really, i wanted to tell everyone this because i've seen too many people get some literature from a JW... only to throw it away or leave it crumpled somewhere. and i get that you accepted it to be polite. i'm not knocking you for that. just... i want you guys to understand why i am the way i am. (no, it's not just because my parents are the way they are. it's my belief system and god... everything. and it's not fair if i don't share it.)

but... so... i'm babbling. i know. but... what am i not explaining clearly? let me know. there's gotta be something in your mind that's been asking to be answered. "why do JWs... (blank that you fill in)?"
