Mar. 10th, 2008 08:42 amthis week is going to be full of multiple posts. be forewarned. it's spring break, and i'm working as close to full time as i can get in the labs. *sigh* i've already had 2 doses of caffeine, no one's talking to me, and while usually at this point i'd be doing some kind of lab check??? we've instituted a new system which makes me obsolete in that very moment.
so.
bored.
i will, however, get to work on reading the rest of The Scarlet Pimpernel and Eldorado and all the other League of the Scarlet Pimpernel novels i can find online. because breeches and broadcloth deserve that much time. i guess i'll also work on sanpit, the round table and whatever else crosses my mind. i've got cues challenges to still finish (*holds a moment of silence for cues*), so i'll probably work on that too. just have to decide to actually do it. which, hey, won't be too hard, considering that no one's ever online when i am anymore.
sometime this week, you may see a meta (at least, i think it'll be meta. i've yet to figure out if that's really what is meant by meta) about Dean Winchester: Complex Character, as well as discussion of Sam Winchester as Gunga Din ("you're a better man than i am, gunga din"). all because of and dealing with All Hell Breaks Loose (end of season 2) and Mystery Spot (mid-season 3), which will be compared and contrasted with the boys and their reaction to losing each other. i also may include some discussion of What Is And What Will Never Be. granted, this will generally be rambly and off-the-cuff, since i'm not going to bother rewatching any of the episodes, and i'm just going off of memory. but you can lay all my thoughts at the feet of my newest addictions: "The Gun" by goldenseal, and the Supernatural Fangirl Experience podcast by affectingly and keepaofthecheez.
it's a shame i'm not as well read as most folks who do the metadiscussions on their LJs. because i don't have enough friends who watch supernatural to make a difference or to really read anyone's responses. maybe i'll link to a coupla comms? maybe not.
but yeah. that's what comes of being at work for hours on end, snowed in over the weekend and your brain gets hooked. you'll be seeing more of this as we go along. forgive me if i take up a bunch of space on your flist.
