well, best laid plans, right?

so i went and was completely off plan for half the week. and didn't do a lick of exercise. :(

and here's where the truth lies... )

that being said, i did have a pretty good weekend (despite going way, way off plan). i went out of town to see some friends i hadn't seen in a year. and i'd lost about 40 pounds since i'd last seen them (which was awesome). so that does help me feel a little better, on the whole.

well.... that and cuddling with a guy all weekend who actually likes me for me (not because i hang with leonardo, or that guy who played in fargo), despite my being overweight. since his family (my friends) are all pretty overweight, it's probably not that big of a deal to him. but it's always nice to be appreciated. he only creeps me out a little. like when he calls me his wife (honey, we ain't even dating), or when he likes my legs (yeah, so totally not pretty... not cankles, but i can't buy boots that go any taller than ankle).... yeah. but to have him and his brother fight over my attention was a serious ego boost. it made me happy.

so the plan (starting tomorrow, as today was a rush and i didn't get to pack everything i was supposed to...) is back on! i'll go on "rapid results", which tends to cut out the carb and the fruit a little more strictly and then give myself a week to get back in the saddle. exercise starts tonight! no more excuses!!
