well, today blows

welcome to today's "god, i must be bored" post.

there's nothing to do at work. if no one shows up by three, i'm leaving. and maybe calling tyler, since she called yesterday and i didn't get a chance to call her back.

baked possibly the most awesome cake ever (marbled yellow and chocolate) and decorated it (this time, by myself)! i baked the cake two days ago, decorated it yesterday, and half of it's gone today. yum. love cake.

i actually weigh more than i did the last time i weighed, but it's still under 300. so bittersweet, but better than not.

still waiting on my astro grade. please let it at least be a C! i'm totally digging my 2.98 semester, so a C would be brillo, thanks.

have yet to turn in any paperwork to the school about financial aid, substitution of classes and late withdrawal. if i ever do, and they approve, that may mean that i'm gonna get out of school within a reasonable time, you know?

i'm seriously exhausted right now. nothing i'd like more than to get a nap and get it over with. i'm honestly leaving at three. i can't be bothered to watch tv, movies or read anything right now. my brain just can't take the tedium of it. i accidentally left my hard drive at home, so guess who isn't even gonna write anything right now!

still sick, but at least this time i'm taking something for it already--aleve cold and sinus. it works pretty well, i guess. love my brother for buying it for me. he's still kinda awesome when he wants to be.

am wearing old, old shoes today. they're from walmart, coming apart at the seams and can't do a durn thing to stop water from getting to the rest of my feet. but they're possibly the second most comfortable pair of shoes i've owned (the other ones being a similar pair of red tennis shoes i bought from value city. no sole to speak of, but best way to learn to drive. almost like being barefoot).

i had a ridiculously vivid dream where my sister handed me a nail file and i straightened out my nails. it was weird. especially as i have no need to.

thinkgeek.com is awesome. i found a usb connecting electric guitar, as well as a pocket amp made from an altoids tin. *wants* it's got some pretty awesome stuff on the site too. microbe plushes (a guy at my mom's job gave me his pox), cubicle warfare devices... more stuff than i can buy, but all the stuff i really kinda want.

oh, got a christmas present from my boss' boss. ick. a pair of cheap-o gloves and a woolen headscarf (i guess... it looks more like a placemat). all told, $6 if she didn't catch it on sale. dude, for that? she coulda donated the money to our appreciation lunch yesterday (which was awful, don't be fooled) and we wouldn't have had to come off of $10 each that we don't really have.

have a party tomorrow at a friend's house. maybe will learn some more salsa moves? not likely, of course, but it won't hurt to try. could wash clothes tonight and wear heels tomorrow and YAY will look pretty or something. *shrug*

i really need to get rid of this feeling i keep having. you know the one where you feel like making out with someone until the world melts away? can't really do anything with that feeling right now. but i'd like to have someone press me up against a wall and do something about it. maybe not today because, ugh, kinda sick. but sometime.
