Jul. 10th, 2009 03:04 amoh, hah. yeah. hi lj!
so no poll on what i'm taking. i have yet to do the hems on my skirts, ok? i need some time. and i'm leaving saturday morning. so. yeah.
by the way. i totally put off packing for a week only to grab almost all of it together between 1 and 2 this morning. procrastination, ahoy!
i'm at work tomorrow, so i will be doing all the important things: making personal calling cards, writing the last of the fic i was supposed to be writing, watching tv that i won't catch up on while i'm gone, bemoaning my lack of proper wages... the usual. plus added music collecting for the trip. i've got an mp3 player that needs cleaning, and a phone that needs more stuff. between the two i should be all set for that.
my plan for my carryon is basically "watership down" or "la femme rompue" and my french dictionary. translation is not a bad idea, you know? besides, WD is awesome, if i read that instead. i've just got a 3 or 4 hour layover with nothing to do. i may even write something else. print out the last chapter of everything i've got and then write on that, you know? it's an idea.
so tired. going to work in 4 hours. will be there allllllllllllll day, doing nothing. maybe i should've taken tomorrow off for more packing...
also, saw transformers. i now understand the hype behind Megan Fox. rawr. i think it was the boots as she ran across the desert in egypt. *nods* i also get why they didn't give it more stars, but remember... it was based on a cartoon about an alien robot civil war. you really can only go so far before the plot thins. imagine, instead, doing two or more ThunderCats movies. can't be done.
*note to self: email toshi and lynne. he's probably back from germany by now, and she's been waiting on a reply about that kid of hers. sheesh.
