i realize it's a bit late. so here's what i'm gonna say.
i need to buckle down and work on my classes.
i just talked to my mom about classes for next semester, as well as the future classes. my spring schedule... is tough. but good times for me. tuesday thursday from 11 to 3:15. and monday evening from 4:30 to 7:15. that's pretty darn good, if you ask me. that gives me nearly three full days without school. and that's taking french culture, french translation, ancient greek history, and black music. i can get myself together spiritually... which i know is taking a long time... and get my education out of the way.
not only that, but it also is good for graduation. if i take two french electives in summer school (which i heard is soooooooo easy... not that i believe it), and pass my classes over the next three semesters (including this semester)... i could graduate next december. that is... DECEMBER 2006. that's... whoa. i'll only just be able to drink when i get my diploma. (not that *that* is high on my list.)
not only that, i'll *technically* be an undergrad for another year and a half from there. i can get my masters along with my bachelors. by the time i'm 22 and a half... i'll have done at least six years of work from high school in four years. and still get a full scholarship (provided i bring my grades up...). not to mention that the class times get better and better the higher i go.
and being a double minority (black female) makes this like... scholarship/grant heaven. who wouldn't want to hire me? i need, total, 45 credit hours, including study abroad(!!!!), in french to get my graduate degree. and i could get hired anywhere. including, if i really wanted, uofl for teaching positions. dude.
oh. wow.
i need to buckle down and do my work.
[edit: *handface* i so should have known this sooner.]
