(no subject)

so... i'm at home today. and i thought i'd say a bunch about what's new.

was out of town this weekend. very boring. but i got to see my favorite fifteen year old interpreting into sign for a half an hour. he's good. not great, but good. and i got to talk to him most of the weekend. webbie said he doesn't like me anymore. and maybe so. but it was fun talking to him again. i haven't seen him in forever.

got a text from english!nathan (as in andy/jimmy's older brother) on saturday. in the midst of midterms. said he'll email me when he gets home. that makes me happy. i miss him. them. england. and then when i got home yesterday, i saw andy/jimmy'd sent me an email. he has a guitar (which brings him wayyyyyyyyyyyy up in my estimation of him. but thank god it wasn't drums.) and he thinks i'm a talented writer. i babbled at him for about an hour before giving him my number (make that the second guy i've given my number for the intent to call me... dear lord, what's wrong with me?) and sounded absolutely desperate. *stabs eyes out with a toothpick*

cooked myself some pasta for lunch today. and i figure i make pretty good sauces for it, on the whole. ever since this summer, i've been creating stuff. some has been good. most hasn't. but i do have two that were fantastic. one was pineapple/mandarin oranges with bacon and smoked sausage. it ended up being this sweet-hot, hawaiian type of dish. and then today was fettuccine with a creamy chicken marinara. chicken, garlic, cream cheese, parmesean....

good stuff.
