i haven't written anything that's worthwhile in a bit. i need to stop watching tv all the time. if i do that, i may actually get some brain power or something.

cues is on an official hiatus. i was wondering when it would happen. guess me as a mod means so very little... me even helping post challenges bites the big one as well. should've figured, i guess.

i've been reading over some of the stuff i was writing for nanowrimo last year. and posting some new for that. (over at shadows_of, if you want to take a gander.) it was the big fanfic100 table, 100 one-word prompts. i figured i could write like 3 or 4 a day, at 500 words apiece, and crank out 50K in a month. which was a brilliant thought... until i started it.

well.

i'm still writing it. off and on. i will not leave everything i write unfinished if it takes longer than a page, dammit! or so i tell myself every time i start writing again.

so. as of right now? i'm at 40,376 words. FORTY THOUSAND WORDS. that ranks as the longest story i've ever written! yay! double yay! and that's like... 52 prompts. i've finally crossed the halfway mark with my prompts, and i'm at over 40K words. i'm so happy.
