dancing with the stars?? makes me long for so you think you can dance. because it's a little shudder-worthy to watch the celebs try to dance. with 2 left feet or A PROSTHETIC LEG. i don't have anything against the former mrs. mccartney. but i think after the continual falling because of lack of stability on the leg? should let her know that it's a little out of her league to try ballroom dancing at the competitive level. for real.
though i'm her only cheerleader in the house, apparently. *shakes head*
i sliced my thumb the other day, and it's just now feeling better. but it's weird to look down and see what looks like a boiled tomato type of skin peely.
i've got an interview on campus tomorrow. i'm hoping against hope, but i'm also worried cause i've got a few stipulations--summer school, school period this fall, and ENGLAND IN SEPTEMBER. cause i'm going to see lynne get married and to wow the socks off my boys and see scotland for the first time and london for the first time in good weather with pleasant company and dammit.... if that means not getting the job that was fucking made for me??? *sigh* that's what it'll take.
also, my keyboard is fighting me.
alright, i'm off to bed. i'm marvelling at how long my hair is (finally).... halfway down my back for what i think is the first time in my life. granted, it's pressed straight right now, and i have no coping mechanism for the (a) ripping of hairs when taking off backpacks, (b) the weird way it falls over my shoulders, (c) the fucking weight of it, or (d) how it's suddenly got a lot greyer than i remember. prematurely grey at 25? right on schedule, darling. i'm up to highlights instead of just a couple of strands. seriously. it's weird.
