Jul. 3rd, 2008 02:50 pmso tomorrow's the fourth of july. or, as it's supposed to be known "having a day off work means (never) having to do your laundry." or, even better, "stop faffing about and do what you've been meaning to do for a few weeks now."
this is probably especially important as i'm wearing a worn out pair of jeans today. i've had them since freshman year of high school (same jeans i wore during the Really Big Show). i love them. the thighs now have worn-out spots that are equal to rips in the knees. only in more compromising of a spot. haha. i feel so bad!!! these jeans have seen more action than... well.... yeah. the hems are shot and the buttons that hold the flares together barely work anymore (one's broken in half, i think, so it takes maneuvering to keep the pant leg closed. :D) and... they're probably the most comfortable pair of jeans i own. i'm sorry to see them go. best 12 dollars i ever spent.
i just sat outside in the rain. not long, just the five minutes it took for the rain to go from a sprinkle to the beginning of a really hard rain and for me to drink a can of mountain dew. my neck was killing me before i went out there. but i calmed down a helluva lot and just chilled in the rain. it felt pretty darn good. shame i can't sit outside for any long time today. wasn't supposed to have the break, but i just couldn't sit inside for much longer.
wanted was a pretty cool movie. granted, it wasn't as cool as i thought it would be. maybe i had too big of expectations for it. but it was pretty hot. i really, really want to touch angelina jolie's tattoos in that movie. (yes, i said touch. i really have no feelings whatsoever toward her, but her tattoos there fascinate the hell outta me.) but... mindfuck movies for the win(?)!
still have yet to see hancock or wall-e. maybe i'll get my parents to pay for it and we'll hang out this weekend. i'm so broke i can't stand it. i've got 45 bucks to last me til next thursday when i get paid again, and that's including riding up to chicago on wednesday for a weekend. I'M SO ILL PREPARED IT'S RIDICULOUS.

also, thenyxie? writes the hottest fucking... D/s, prep school!AU Jsquared that i've ever read (since annella's high school!AU doesn't exactly fall into the dom/sub field). amen.
