Sep. 15th, 2009 06:25 pmsitting in front of the a/c, about to go to the meeting tonight. but i just realized i hadn't posted here for a while. so i'm giving you my to-do list for the next two weeks:
. write email to tasha about life. about how her mom sucks. about her boyfriend. about how i miss my cousins.
. write emails to folks i met in poland.
, also need to send emails to my tour group with pictures.
. re-write that Bienvenue a Louisville thing, due thursday.
. give at least 250 words consideration to all my in-progress fics.
, also consider writing some comment-fic.
, and maybe some fanfic for southland, history boys, spn, etc. fanfic is occasionally good for the soul. as is genfic. which has been sorely lacking lately. so yeah. deffo write some fanfic.
. do my laundry. it's now piled up.
. other extraneous items including
, keep up with my financial aid stuff
, study for the gre
, make DB challenge
, look for DC challenge
, vote on CH challenge (someone should totally vote for mine)
, turn in paperwork on class substitutions
etc
anyway. this is outside of trying to force myself to be a better student and do my homework earlier than the day of. and whatnot. must get those two fails off my transcript!!
have also been plotting out the spring. either i'll take a CLEP test this fall and make the spring a 12 hr semester, or i'll take 15 hrs and hope for the best. so far, i'm not failing!!! i hope. i'm getting 8/10 on most things. got a 90/100 on a test today, but found out the best score was 120/100, so does that put me in the same place as before or no? the things i worry about these days are astoundingly dull.
on a side note, i need y'all to pray i get a full amount on my financial aid. i'm qualified for nearly 5500, but i haven't heard back yet. if i get that much, i can pay off my loan and get a dell mini. which, y'all. my computer is such crap, i could use a new one. plus, i'd start having more money during the month with a paid-off loan. hell, i could even afford to talking my parents into getting me a car!! or something. maybe a moped? but i really, really could use that big amount. i hope it's not too late!!
so. yeah. maybe i should add "Look for a real job" to that to-do list, but i'm not sure as yet. (must needs be a senior!)
