Oct. 22nd, 2009 11:06 amplease vote for shadows_of, that is to say vote for me, in round 1 of LJ Idol. voting closes on monday. i'm up against some strong contenders: rejeneration, baxaphobia, stormkitty and zia_narratora. every little helps, you know?
in other news, guess who's taking yesterday and today off so she can recover with pain meds? that's right. wisdom teeth are coming in, and one is pushing directly against the roots of the rest of my teeth instead of coming in correctly. i haven't had a real night's rest in three days. i just raided my mom's muscle relaxers to get just a little relief, as the meds i was prescribed did next to nothing for me (in fact, i think my mouth was hurting worse after taking that as opposed to when i was just self-medicating with anbesol, orajel and excedrine tension headache (which, ugh, caffeine at night was a bad idea, but at least it took away the ache that was settling in my shoulder area).
anyway. i think maybe the pills are kicking in. the jaw's numbed a little and my brain's starting to drift. all i can think of is how much i hate windows and their insistence on restarting a computer when you're in the middle of something because, hey, it just finished installing updates from X hours ago. ugh.
