wellownedbkupi don't really have much to talk about today. today consists of me cursing having to work on mondays, cheering because heroes comes on tonight (whee!), aching from my sister's reception that was saturday (it turned out well, thanks for asking), wishing more people had replied to my photomeme (just goes to show who actually reads this thing...), hearing my stomach grumble something related to food, wishing it would snow and that i'd worn something other than flip-flops...
yeah. that's my day.
devon's thing turned out really nice. there wasn't much dancing, of course. but the dancing there was was done by me and i'm the life of the party, dammit. so there was dancing. and good food. and pictures of all of us (and i don't look bad for once. granted, my arm is like this bright white beacon of fat flabbiness, but i can deal with that because my mummy says i'm friendly with the camera.) dancing and hugging andgetting rid of the webbie once and for all being happy. there ended up being so much food left over that we're going to be eating baked chicken and macaroni and cheese for days. at least. but it was cool. and i'm happy that she's happy. sorta.
and yesterday wasn't half bad. i got to laugh at the joke of a wedding for this guy i used to be friends with. and i went bowling (i sucked again, but it wasn't terrible. i tied with one of the better bowlers...) i got jolted into wanting to lose weight (again.). my nails've been painted black all weekend and they still look nice, considering it was a rush job and it's starting to chip at the edges.
i've made plans to go back to england for the 2012 olympics. i'm not overly fond of summer olympics, but this should be nice, right? if someone would like to donate to my travel fund (there's england/scotland this september, and a cruise this november if i get some cash together, and then europe again in 2012, and i'd love for that to happen), i'm taking donations via paypal--ambrosia18 [at] gmail [dot] com. (and yes, i semi-serious about that.)
but.
all in all, i'm ok. but tired. and a little hungry. i wish i was home now and sleeping. or that i could've gone to see dreamgirls this afternoon like i'd wished.

This year, I am traveling to Hawaii and to Nashville Tenessee... pretty cool for a girl who has never been anywhere but California, Nevada, and Oregon. :D
Dreamgirls was wonderful. Went to see it with my Mom this weekend. Defiantely a worthwhile movie to see!

Date: 2007-01-23 06:13 pm (UTC)you've been more around the states than me. i've been to Virginia beach, indianapolis, gatlinburg and cincinatti. that's it... not counting layovers in chicago and newark. i need to travel more. i don't get around like i want.
i'm going to see dreamgirls this weekend, i think. i keep hearing it's worth seeing! 'specially cause jennifer hudson has such a great voice.
