(no subject)

after the insomniac hour at 2 in the morning, i've written up two old cues challenges, made an insomniac's playlist, and basically screwed up my sleep for the rest of the trip. woot.

i'm hot and tired now. and we're about to catch the bus (yay) to go to edinburgh to walk the royal mile (double yay) and stop at all the places along the way. gah. i'm *so* excited. yay. can't you tell?

THE GREAT BLEEDING BLOODY FUCK. ok, for one, i am not part mountain goat. also, fucking uti. i need more water than i'm getting, apparently. (i know, i know, tmi. but still.)

also, i'm just hiding out now because there was some big huge blow-up right now, and i'm not prepared to go down to deal with that. i give it half an hour, and then i'll go down. that's time for it to blow over, yeah? i can only hope their tempers cool faster than my family's, cause that would be a whole day of bad. so, yeah, half an hour.

that gives me a chance to figure out what to say in juanboy's giftcard thing. i'm still thinking i'm gonna write him a separate letter, either when i get home or put it in the envelope with the phone. still not sure i'll figure something out eventually, i guess.

til then, yeesh. today sucks. it was decent up and down with the castle, except we froze. and everything is UPHILL. how is EVERYTHING uphill??? i am not part mountain goat, again i'll say it.
