drive by update!

• mom's eye is ok. they say it *is* just a broken vessel. give it two weeks or so and if it's not healed, we'll proceed with the surgery that we were gonna do anyway. which, ok. i get that. but it's really freaky to see half her eye red, ok?
• spent far too much at walmart today on earrings and a bra. and some gauze. i hope those earrings are worth it!!
• have been watching The OC again on hulu (they've got half season rights, so they've got the first half of season one up, and will replace the oldest with a newer one starting in july), and it's kinda ridic. and ben mckenzie is still the tiniest boy i've ever seen in my life, i bet. he looks like such a lost little boy half the time. i love it.
• evansville this weekend, yay? on the plus side, see friends again. on the minus side, less working, more travel and staying in a hotel room with my granny. i'm taking my laptop and no one better stop me.
• tension headaches blow.
• am drawing blanks on the second prompt i picked up about chekov. i think this means i should watch the movie again. but am watching The OC for the same reason about ryan and seth. oh, fic. if only i could quit you.
• spent too much money today. this was a very bad idea. so much for having cash for poland/nyc.
